Overview
The 2-acre all-weather main playground at GD International School, Sector 92 is the sporting heart of campus. It houses a full-size football pitch (100 m × 60 m), a turf cricket pitch with net practice cages, 400-metre 6-lane cinder running track, long-jump and triple-jump pits, high-jump and pole-vault areas, shot-put and discus circles, kho-kho and kabaddi courts, plus open lawn space for picnic days and junior-kids play.
Professional sports coaches — national-level football, cricket, athletics — conduct daily after-school practice sessions. Inter-house tournaments, Annual Sports Day and CBSE Cluster-level meets are hosted here every year. The playground is equipped with floodlights for evening practice, sprinkler irrigation system, boundary fencing and first-aid station.
