Overview
Safe, clean drinking water is a non-negotiable at GD International School. Three commercial multi-stage RO + UV + UF purification plants (one per 2 floors) with combined output of 2,000 litres/hour feed 30+ chilled and ambient drinking water dispensers spread across every floor, playground, auditorium, canteen and bus-bay area. All dispensers are foot-pedal operated to minimise contact and hand contamination.
Water quality is tested monthly by a NABL-accredited laboratory for bacteriological and chemical parameters (pH, TDS, total hardness, residual chlorine, nitrates, heavy metals — lead, arsenic, mercury). Results are submitted to the School Health Committee every month and displayed on the notice board at Reception. Water tankers (used for backup during municipal supply interruptions) are sourced only from Haryana-approved vendors with mandatory water testing on every delivery. Drinking water fountains are cleaned and sanitised daily by housekeeping staff.
