Overview
The 500-seat fully air-conditioned GD International School Auditorium is a state-of-the-art performance venue on the 4th floor. It has a 40 ft × 20 ft proscenium stage with modular extensions, professional 8,000 Watt JBL sound system, ETC dimming-controlled lighting rig, Martin moving-head spots, motorised front-projection screen (24 ft × 14 ft) with 15,000 Lumen laser projector, green room, VIP lounge, backstage make-up rooms and wheelchair-accessible front row.
Annual Day, Prize Day, Inter-House Cultural Festival, Staff Farewell, Investiture Ceremony, Founder's Day, Debates, Quiz, TEDx-Youth, Parent Orientation, Workshops and visiting Artist Performances all take place here. Audio, lighting and projection are operated by a trained technical crew with one show-runner per event. Events are streamed live on the school YouTube channel for parents who cannot attend in person.
