Overview
The covered, open-air Morning Assembly Courtyard is the emotional heart of the GD International campus. Each school day begins here at 7:50 AM with a 20-minute assembly: all students of grades III–XII assemble house-wise alongside their class teachers and house masters. The program includes a universal prayer, thought for the day, news (national, international and school), pledge, value talk by a teacher or student leader, birthday greetings and a song.
Monday assemblies are House presentations — each house takes a turn to present a short skit, poem or performance on the weekly theme. Friday assemblies include whole-school singing practice and special guest speakers on topics such as road safety, cyber safety, health awareness, career guidance and more. The courtyard is covered by a weather-shed roof and flood-lit for evening events.
