Overview
Full-campus 24×7 power backup ensures uninterrupted teaching, safety and operations even during long grid outages common in peak summer months. Two heavy-duty diesel generators (250 KVA + 125 KVA) with auto-start ATS panels cover 100% of building load — every classroom smart panel, lab, lift, water pump, server room, CCTV, security, intercom, PA system and emergency light grid. Additionally, every floor, stairwell, corridor and exit has self-contained 3-hour emergency LED lights with monthly discharge test.
Server Room and Smart Class central equipment rack have dedicated online double-conversion UPS units (20 KVA and 10 KVA respectively) for zero-switchover time, protecting equipment and data from power spikes and sags. Generator fuel tanks are filled to 100% capacity in summer; weekly generator test runs are conducted under 70% load and recorded in the Maintenance Register. All backup equipment is under Annual Maintenance Contract with a reputed Gurgaon-based power company.
