Overview
The Physics Laboratory is engineered to turn abstract theory into tangible experiments. 40 workstations house vernier callipers, screw gauges, travelling and travelling microscopes, Newtonian mechanics kits, simple pendulum setups, resonance tubes, sonometers, Wheatstone bridge kits, potentiometers, deflection magnetometers, optical benches with convex/concave lenses and mirrors, spectrometers, cathode ray oscilloscopes, multimeters and semiconductor apparatus.
A dedicated dark room for optics experiments supports Class XII core practicals. Equipment is calibrated annually by NABL-accredited laboratories. Practical journals are checked weekly and viva voce assessments conducted monthly for classes IX and above. Board practicals for X and XII batches are held on campus with full CBSE documentation and external examiner arrangements.
