Overview
LATE ARRIVAL TO SCHOOL
- The school gates close sharp at 08:00am (during summers) and 08:30am (during winters). Latecomers will be excused for the first two times and entry will be permitted only from Gate. Third time onwards, late arrivals will not be allowed to enter and parents will be requested to take their ward back home for the day.
-The names of the late arrivals will be noted down.
IDENTITY CARDS
The students are issued a student's ID Card and an Escort Card every session.
Students need to wear their ID card on a daily basis.
Parents will not be allowed entry without the Escort Card.
In case of early dispersal, the students will not be allowed to leave the school premises without an authorized gate pass.
STUDENT'S ABSENCE AND WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE
Short leaves and half day leaves etc. are not allowed.
If the child is on leave, please inform the school promptly, preferably the class teacher of your ward in writing.
If your ward is repeatedly absent without approval for more than six consecutive days, it will render the child liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
In case of medical issues, medical certificate should be submitted to the class teacher.
EXAMINATION PATTERN AND ASSESSMENT
There will be two terms in the entire year.
No retest shall be conducted for a student if he/she misses the periodic test, Term-1 or Term-2 exams. It shall be marked zero.
If a student misses any assessment due to any medical reason, then a valid medical certificate will be required by the authorised doctor; no re-test shall be conducted.
Each term shall comprise two periodic tests and two class tests.
Students need to secure at least 33% marks in each term in order to be promoted to the next class and 40% marks in aggregate.
SEA will be conducted throughout the session.
Notebook and Portfolio marks will also be added in final assessment.
SCHOOL RULES
While on the School Rolls students must come to school in proper school uniform, whatever the purpose or duration of the visit.
All the students must attend morning assembly. Students should arrive at the school ten minutes before the school starts.
The students will be allowed to enter the class only after leave application for the same is submitted. Senior students should submit the application for leave, a day in advance.
If a student is absent for more than 5 days he/she should submit the medical certificate. Absence on false or fake grounds is not acceptable.
Students will not be allowed to go home during school hours.
Students are expected to attend school on last and first working day prior to and after vacations (Holiday). Strict disciplinary action will be taken for such absence. A fine may also be imposed.
